Welcome....

     A warm welcome awaits you at The Bell Guesthouse located in Horden, County Durham.

The site was acquired and built in 1925 by Henry Bell. The Bell has recently gone under extensive refurbishment throughout, whilst retaining the original open fire places to relax and unwind.

     

    The Bell provides a comfortable base for exploring the North East of England. In 30 minutes’ drive you can be in the beautiful Durham dales, North Yorkshire moors and the North hills of Northumberland.

   

For pleasure?....

     If you Love shopping or sight seeing there’s an array to choose from Hartlepool and the historic Quay, Dalton Park to the bridges in Sunderland. The historical city of Durham with its impressive Cathedral, Castle and the River Wear to Newcastle city centre and the Metro centre. Our beaches provide hours of fun for those sea glass collecting 

   

For business?....

     We are a stone’s throw away from the commercial business parks which house major companies including Caterpillar, TRW and Bristol Laboratories to name a few and various call centres.

A new multi-million-pound  train station has opened in Horden. Located on South East View, the station links the east of the county into the local, regional and national rail network.
